To respond effectively to untimely outages, to the question of lighting in urban, peri-urban and rural areas, to solve the questions of energy losses and voltage drop, this is the challenge that the Afrique Nouvelles Énergies company wants to take up.
During a very popular press conference this August 26, 2023 in Yaoundé, the CEO-Director of the eponymous company, Eric Ngueguim, moreover President of the Renewable Energies Union of Cameroon, presented the offer, the mechanisms and the ways of implementation of the energy succession.
With an annual average of about 200 days of sunshine for 6 to 7 hours of sunshine per day, an annual percentage of sunshine of about 50%, and temperatures between 27 and 30 ° Celsius, Cameroon would benefit from tuning to new energies, so agriculture presents an asset for the implementation of electricity by the biomass system.
If the sun and plant waste are free, it is a question of boosting the use of solar and biomass energies via not only an expanded awareness of the various actors (government authorities, social strata …), but also a quality training offer, the Higher Institute for New Energies responding to this need thanks to its non-exhaustive diversity of sectors, notably solar photovoltaic and thermal, energy audit, bioclimatic architecture, small hydro … for a training cost oscillating between 400 and 600,000 FCFA.
Solar, energy at zero francs.
With an experience of fifteen years in the field of renewable energies, Eric Ngueguim intends by the Africa New Energies group to make its contribution to the construction of a real energy policy in Cameroon and elsewhere, because the group is already well established in Senegal, Switzerland, Belgium and Ivory Coast.
Solar surveillance cameras with integrated wifi, solar pumps, solar fans, autonomous and modular solar kits, solar streetlights, load-shedding light bulbs, multi-use solar panels and many others, AEN offers a diverse range of equipment, tools that comply with environmental standards and woven into specifications adapted to multiple needs, Eric Ngueguim tells us. Despite the persistence of a difficult economic and financial context, AEN has set up the Credit Lumière, Credit Énergie system in order to allow everyone to appropriate the equipment of their choice with the possibility of payment in drafts, an initiative welcomed by banks and other partners who are constantly jostling for possible partnerships.
In short, the availability of new energies comes at the right time to respond to the great deficit observed in the energy sector, the mass constituting the lever for proposals in the face of energy development policies that are not very adapted to the modern context.
